According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (126), followed by Pennsylvania (66), and Illinois (60).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-161), followed by Arizona (-147), and Kentucky (-137).
