According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (493), followed by New York (436), and Pennsylvania (353).

On the other hand, Alabama added the least number of jobs (-757), followed by New Jersey (-200), and Louisiana (-78).
