According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2021, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (202), followed by Arizona (196), and Ohio (146).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-43), followed by Illinois (-21), and Missouri (-15).
