According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Oklahoma added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (54), followed by Pennsylvania (24), and New Jersey (22).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-162), followed by Nevada (-138), and Montana (-127).
