According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the private support activities for mining industry (), followed by Georgia (61), and Utah (52).

On the other hand, Oklahoma added the least number of jobs (-1,931), followed by Texas (-1,581), and Louisiana (-1,215).
