According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the private construction of buildings industry (2,049), followed by New York (1,821), and California (1,779).

On the other hand, South Carolina added the least number of jobs (-263), followed by Texas (-214), and West Virginia (-60).
