According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private heavy and civil engineering construction industry (6,123), followed by Illinois (4,087), and Ohio (3,969).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-575), followed by Louisiana (-408), and Oklahoma (-236).
