According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private heavy and civil engineering construction industry (1,430), followed by Florida (569), and California (481).

On the other hand, West Virginia added the least number of jobs (-778), followed by New York (-546), and Wyoming (-500).
