According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Rhode Island added the highest number of jobs to the private other heavy construction industry (), followed by Louisiana (317), and Kentucky (154).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-302), followed by South Carolina (-270), and Pennsylvania (-171).
