According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (754), followed by Kentucky (523), and Maryland (487).

On the other hand, Washington added the least number of jobs (-611), followed by Arkansas (-513), and Arizona (-474).
