According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (629), followed by Arizona (601), and Alabama (473).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-978), followed by California (-733), and Washington (-717).
