According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (2,957), followed by California (1,961), and Texas (633).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-665), followed by Louisiana (-493), and Washington (-428).
