According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (2,997), followed by Washington (965), and Oregon (811).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-1,615), followed by Pennsylvania (-475), and Missouri (-160).
