According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (1,276), followed by New York (752), and Texas (584).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-3,614), followed by Wisconsin (-309), and Oregon (-225).
