According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private food manufacturing industry (1,276), followed by Kansas (784), and Florida (386).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-576), followed by Alabama (-517), and Mississippi (-424).
