According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the private fiber, yarn, and thread mills industry (26), followed by Pennsylvania (6), and Virginia (6).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-203), followed by North Carolina (-107), and Massachusetts (-7).
