According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the private fiber, yarn, and thread mills industry (21), followed by California (2), and Illinois (2).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-112), followed by South Carolina (-63), and Alabama (-24).
