According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private apparel manufacturing industry (123), followed by Pennsylvania (110), and Texas (88).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-311), followed by Massachusetts (-106), and Ohio (-61).
