According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the private apparel manufacturing industry (118), followed by Tennessee (66), and New Jersey (57).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-189), followed by North Carolina (-123), and Texas (-88).
