According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Maine added the highest number of jobs to the private pulp, paper, and paperboard mills industry (78), followed by Kentucky (63), and Alabama (36).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-44), followed by Massachusetts (-26), and Florida (-26).
