According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (107), followed by Illinois (63), and Mississippi (54).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-36), followed by California (-36), and Virginia (-32).
