According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (188), followed by West Virginia (156), and Wisconsin (24).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-1,912), followed by Pennsylvania (-289), and New Jersey (-224).
