According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (86), followed by West Virginia (20), and North Carolina (16).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-71), followed by California (-70), and Texas (-56).
