According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the private petroleum and coal products manufacturing industry (237), followed by Pennsylvania (209), and Illinois (159).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-216), followed by New Mexico (-154), and Indiana (-94).
