According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (697), followed by Texas (585), and Illinois (395).

On the other hand, Kentucky added the least number of jobs (-36), followed by Connecticut (-30), and Utah (-29).
