According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (842), followed by Texas (804), and Illinois (554).

On the other hand, New Mexico added the least number of jobs (-20), followed by Mississippi (-4), and Hawaii (-3).
