According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Tennessee added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (35), followed by New Mexico (28), and Utah (18).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-633), followed by California (-376), and Indiana (-367).
