According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (501), followed by California (480), and Wisconsin (376).

On the other hand, Rhode Island added the least number of jobs (-20), followed by Arizona (-20), and West Virginia (-2).
