According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (1,083), followed by Massachusetts (379), and California (163).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-692), followed by Michigan (-438), and Pennsylvania (-301).
