According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (165), followed by California (121), and Illinois (86).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-247), followed by Ohio (-235), and Missouri (-111).
