According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Washington added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (54), followed by Oregon (43), and Arizona (39).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-696), followed by Indiana (-388), and New York (-281).
