According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private other chemical product and preparation mfg. industry (84), followed by Texas (81), and Illinois (21).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-39), followed by Pennsylvania (-27), and Missouri (-25).
