According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private nonmetallic mineral product manufacturing industry (394), followed by Illinois (286), and Iowa (283).

On the other hand, Kansas added the least number of jobs (-105), followed by Oklahoma (-31), and Arkansas (-18).
