According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the private nonmetallic mineral product manufacturing industry (104), followed by Connecticut (64), and Tennessee (49).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-213), followed by Michigan (-193), and California (-175).
