According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (251), followed by Illinois (114), and Pennsylvania (100).

On the other hand, Iowa added the least number of jobs (-195), followed by Wisconsin (-120), and Tennessee (-86).
