According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Delaware added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (), followed by Georgia (174), and Oregon (86).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-1,028), followed by Ohio (-683), and Indiana (-362).
