According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Oregon added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (72), followed by West Virginia (24), and Missouri (19).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-359), followed by Wisconsin (-300), and Pennsylvania (-277).
