According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Kentucky added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (90), followed by Tennessee (90), and Missouri (60).

On the other hand, Oregon added the least number of jobs (-279), followed by Ohio (-194), and Pennsylvania (-167).
