According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (23), followed by Connecticut (22), and Arizona (17).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-194), followed by Indiana (-193), and Texas (-191).
