According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2021, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (266), followed by Texas (251), and Illinois (197).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-207), followed by South Carolina (-46), and Oregon (-41).
