According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (491), followed by Texas (317), and Ohio (218).

On the other hand, West Virginia added the least number of jobs (-377), followed by New Hampshire (-19), and New Mexico (-10).
