According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private fabricated metal product manufacturing industry (114), followed by Nebraska (93), and Alabama (76).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-676), followed by Illinois (-646), and Ohio (-355).
