According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Minnesota added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (240), followed by North Dakota (79), and Alabama (63).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-741), followed by Ohio (-528), and Michigan (-478).
