According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Iowa added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (143), followed by Texas (142), and Tennessee (133).

On the other hand, Indiana added the least number of jobs (-198), followed by South Carolina (-194), and Kansas (-142).
