According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (203), followed by Alabama (49), and Mississippi (31).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-1,149), followed by Texas (-1,019), and Ohio (-884).
