According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Hawaii added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (), followed by Michigan (841), and Georgia (555).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-1,265), followed by New York (-895), and Florida (-598).
