According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (786), followed by Texas (747), and Maryland (386).

On the other hand, Iowa added the least number of jobs (-356), followed by Oklahoma (-272), and Arizona (-132).
