According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Iowa added the highest number of jobs to the private machinery manufacturing industry (6,802), followed by Illinois (640), and Michigan (623).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-171), followed by Maryland (-44), and South Dakota (-25).
