According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the private transportation equipment manufacturing industry (2,720), followed by Michigan (2,501), and Indiana (2,117).

On the other hand, Washington added the least number of jobs (-3,111), followed by Wisconsin (-250), and California (-247).
