According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private lumber and const. supply merchant wholesalers industry (481), followed by Texas (286), and Illinois (249).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-43), followed by Oregon (-40), and Arizona (-10).
